mozExchange (“mozExchange,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is an unofficial community marketplace for users of Mozaik® cabinet software. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

mozExchange is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Cyncly or Mozaik Software. “Mozaik” and related marks belong to their respective owners.

mozExchange is operated by Drive Logic Tech, LLC. If you have questions, contact us at privacy@drivelogictech.com.

Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Account & profile. When you sign up (with Google, Apple, or an email address and password/magic link), we receive your email address and basic profile details, and store the display name, username, avatar, bio, and location you choose to add.
  • Content you post. Items you upload and list (files, descriptions, screenshots, videos), and your reviews, comments, community requests, showcase projects, and tool suggestions. Much of this is public by design (see “Public information”).
  • Seller details. If you sell, we collect the information needed to pay you out through Stripe Connect (see “Payments”).
  • Communications. Messages you send us (for example, support requests).

Information from your use of the site

  • Transactions. Records of orders, entitlements (what you own and may download), and download activity. We do not collect or store your full card number — payments are processed by Stripe.
  • Usage & visitor data. When you visit, we automatically collect: your IP address, approximate location (country, region, and city) derived from it, the pages you view, the time spent on each page, the page or site you came from (referrer), and your device and browser type. We collect this both through our own visitor logging and through Vercel Web Analytics.
  • Email delivery & engagement. For emails we send you (receipts, item-status and update notices, and replies to messages you send us), our email provider records delivery status and, where enabled, whether the email was opened and whether links in it were clicked — including the approximate time, your IP address, and your device and browser for those opens and clicks. We use this to confirm important emails arrived and to diagnose delivery problems.
  • Messages you send us. If you email us (for example, for support), we store your message, your email address, and any attachments so we can respond and keep a record of the conversation.
  • Cookies & local storage. We use a small number of essential cookies and browser storage: to keep you signed in (authentication), to remember your shopping cart, and to hold an anonymous visitor/session identifier used to group your page views into a single visit for the analytics above. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

How we use your information

  • To provide, operate, and secure the marketplace — your account, library, uploads, downloads, and community features.
  • To process purchases and seller payouts, calculate our platform fee, and handle tax and refunds.
  • To review and moderate content (for example, the README/virus checks on uploads and the moderation queue), prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our rules.
  • To understand how the site is used and where visitors come from, so we can improve it.
  • To communicate with you about your account, purchases, items you own (such as version updates), and support requests.

Where the law requires a legal basis (for example, in the EEA/UK), we rely on performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in running and improving a secure marketplace, your consent where applicable, and compliance with legal obligations.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described here:

  • Service providers (sub-processors) that run the platform on our behalf:
    • Supabase — authentication and database (account, profile, and transaction records).
    • Stripe — payment processing and seller payouts.
    • Cloudflare R2 — storage of item files, served to entitled buyers via short-lived links.
    • Resend — transactional email (receipts, item status, update alerts).
    • Vercel — hosting and Web Analytics.
    • Google and Apple — if you choose to sign in with them.
  • Other users. Your public profile, listings, reviews, comments, and community posts are visible to other users and visitors.
  • Legal & safety. When we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with the law, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or the public.
  • Business transfers. If the marketplace is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Public information

mozExchange is a community marketplace, so some information is public by design: your shop/profile page, the items you publish, your ratings and reviews, your comments, and your community contributions (requests, showcase projects, tool suggestions). Please don’t include anything in these fields you don’t want to be public.

Third-party links and embeds

Item pages may embed videos from YouTube or Vimeo, and the Tool Library links out to third-party retailers (some links may be affiliate links, which are labeled). These third parties have their own privacy practices, which we don’t control. Watching an embedded video or following a link is subject to that provider’s policy.

Data retention

We keep account and transaction records for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Because buyers’ libraries must not vanish, we generally anonymize rather than delete records tied to purchases when an account is closed. Visitor/usage logs are kept only for as long as we need them for analytics and security and are then cleared. Email open and click records are automatically deleted after 90 days; delivery, bounce, and complaint records are kept longer as they are needed to protect email deliverability.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, email privacy@drivelogictech.com. You can also update most profile information directly in your account, and request account deletion from your account settings (we’ll anonymize records we’re required to keep, as described above).

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including access controls on our database (row-level security), encrypted connections, private file storage with expiring download links, and payment handling by Stripe. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and to respond promptly to issues.

International transfers

We and our service providers may process and store information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

Children

mozExchange is intended for professionals and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we’ll update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
